Weaving adventurous rhythms with rich harmonies, the record utilizes precise bass-and-drum synergy to construct expansive, multi-layered instrumental wonders. “The Void” puts on a clinic in immersive, atmospheric guitar work. Jazzy rhythmic lushness persists throughout as well, though largely providing a spotlight to the dynamic guitar work, spanning from emotive twangs to lusher underlying currents.
